Are you passionate about helping students grow in their faith and discover God’s purpose for their lives? Murphy Hill Baptist Church is seeking a Youth Minister/Director to lead our ministry for grades 7–12. We’re looking for someone who loves the Lord, connects well with young people, and has a heart for discipleship and service.
About the Role:
As Youth Minister/Director, you’ll guide students in spiritual growth through Bible teaching, worship, fellowship, and outreach. You’ll work closely with our Pastor, Deacon body, and Church staff to build a Christ-centered, active youth ministry that encourages participation in the broader life of the church.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and lead youth Bible studies (Sunday School and Wednesday nights).
Plan and coordinate youth events, retreats, mission activities, and community outreach.
Provide spiritual support and counseling to youth and families.
Partner with parents to encourage strong faith at home.
Manage the youth ministry budget and report monthly to the church.
This is a paid position with an initial 60-day trial period. Compensation will be determined by the Personnel and Finance Committees, with final approval by the Church body.
